Wednesday was theme day on 4Square for Year 5 and 6 boys and teachers.
Miss Stenhouse showed off her outstanding skills, reaching square number four before being knocked out. Mr Fraser, Mr Feasey and Miss Sharman were also pretty good!

So, thankfully, we can all return to our amazing island now. However, Iberdrola plan to build a nuclear power plant, to solve the problem of energy supply on Carnavico, just after we return.
They say that this is the only option, but can you think of an alternative?
They say it will create vital jobs, but do you think it is at an unacceptable risk?
They say it is for the good of the island, but can you come up with a better solution?
Or do you think that it is the best option for us on OUR island?
Imagine living on a small island (Carnavico) and a huge storm hit (like in the Wreck of the Zanzibar). Describe what it would feel like to be lying in your bed. What noises would you hear? How would you feel? How vulnerable would you be? Just write a short paragraph if you want to.
Think about the poor people in the Philippines who have lost everything they own. If you want to read more about the terrible typhoon (storm) that has devastated lots of Southeast Asia read here. It makes you realise how lucky we are.
Thanks Mr Fraser
Hi
Everyone seems to be enjoying our science topic – it is quite disgusting! Here is the Queen song that we looked at in class. What do you think about it and do you think we could learn it easily? Click here to watch it.
Thanks Mr Fraser
Have you ever had problems with Water Goblins? Have you ever wondered how to trap one? Year 5 have some great ideas, so click here to listen to their instructions to find out what to do .
They are using actions for key language and punctuation marks. I don’t think we’ll be having any more problems with Water Goblins!
