International Day

international day
We have had a wonderful day investigating and celebrating other countries and their diverse cultures. We have also had a visit from two United Nations representatives who gave an informative presentation to Year 4 and 5 pupils. Our closing ceremony at the end of the day was a wonderful celebration of color, music and dance!
What did you most enjoy about the day?

Happy 2015!

Y5 meet the Greeks

This term Year 5 are ´Meeting the Greeks´ where they will encounter mythical beasts, participate in the Olympic games and design their own toy.

The sudden news of a sighting of a strange ´creature´ in Puçol during the holidays from Ms Compton, a Year 6 teacher, led to the children´s idea to help her by searching for evidence of the beast´s existence. They are currently trying to create images of this ´creature´ and prepare questions for an interview with Ms Compton to find out further details of these ´sightings´.
Look at what they have found so far!  What do you think it could be?
